POOL
Plunge into the crystal blue waters of our central pool surrounded by shady palms, lush gardens and fruit trees. A laid back place to lounge and enjoy a good read, or sip on a fruity cocktail at any time of day. Take advantage of that refreshing morning plunge, moonlight dip and everything in between.
YOGA
Yoga has become such a big part of Encantada and who we are. Embraced with open arms by our owners, staff and the entire community. It’s really special to us, and we want to share that with you. We’ve created a beautiful open air space where you can practice and flow with with the sounds of the ocean. A place where you can let the refreshing breezes and rolling waves take you to a place of complete surrender and inner peace. It truly is that magical.
Join us for daily classes that cater to all skill levels and styles. Mats, blocks and straps are provided complimentary, and you’ll love our cushy padded floors. Ask us and we’ll guide you toward which classes best suit your practice. We even offer the occasional class on the beach at sunset which is always a soulful, yet playful experience.

Warm ocean breezes, rolling waves and the odd serenade by a curious macaw sets the stage for an amazing meal. Enjoy a tasty selection of traditional Costa rican cuisine sprinkled with American favorites.
Enjoy fresh Costa Rican fare like the mouthwatering gallo pinto, fried plantains, casados and quesadillas, as well as vegan and vegetarian options. Or shift gears for a burger or steak that will blow your socks off. All of our produce is locally sourced and each dish is lovingly prepared over a wood-fired grill. Join us for Lunch and Dinner everyday, but Wednesday from 12-8pm and Happy Hour from 4-6pm.
AT THE BEACH
One of the central pacific’s best kept secrets are the beaches of Esterillos. Esterillos Este is one of the cleanest beaches in the area and is well known for it’s consistent uncrowded surf, yet somehow it’s managed to retain it’s quiet secluded charm.
The surf is consistent year round with larger waves during Costa Rica’s green season (May - November). Beginner surfers can take a lesson from one of our local surf instructors and experience the stoke that has been caught by so many of us down here. Slightly more experienced surfers can rent a board and paddle out at their leisure. And if you’re feeling slightly less ambitious, but still want to experience the magic of the ocean, boogie boards are perfect for cruising.
