Pura Vida translates to the “pure life” or “simple life.” Steeped in a deep sense of gratitude, Pura Vida is not just a saying in Costa Rica, but a way of being- happy, stress free and laid back. Remove your shoes, feel the sand and salt in between your toes, and allow your stress to wash away with the waves on this barefoot yoga & surf retreat.
Come deeply nourish yourself in nature at Encantada, a quaint setting with only 7 cottages surrounded by lush jungle, warm breezes, sand and surf. Located at Esterillos Este, a quiet, pristine beach with uncrowded waves in a picturesque tropical setting. Peaceful Esterillos Este is in a small Costa Rican town, located about 20 minutes south of the bustle of Jaco, and 90 minutes from the airport. Indulge in twice daily yoga and meditation classes with Chelsea in the open air shala, while enjoying fresh locally sourced Tico & American inspired meals. Spend your free time napping in the hammocks, surfing, boogie boarding, walking the beach, hiking or exploring. Pool and oceanside accommodations, with plenty of spaces to relax and recharge, while surrounded by lush local flora and fauna.
Take time to slow down, come back to your mat, and deeply connect with yourself and others. Disconnect, take a week for deep self care, and enjoy the “Pura Vida!”
